Cannatest brings an exciting approach to potency testing and cannabinoid profiling for the rapidly expanding medical cannabis industry. Combining the power of digital technology with calibrated scientific standards, validated in The Netherlands, we have created the first affordable and completely mobile testing laboratory.
Vision
Cannatest is committed to the advancement and normalization of medical cannabis to create standardized dosage options for patients and educating users about the natural ingredients called cannabinoids. Our mobile testing laboratory identifies and quantifies the six main cannabinoids present in your medicine generating a visual cannabinoid profile of your strain allowing you to assess its pharmacological effect. So...What’s in your medicine?
Method
Cannatest uses High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) to establish what cannabinoids, the medically active ingredients, are present in your medical cannabis. With a quick test we reveal a complete cannabinoid profile, producing qualitative percentages of THC, THCV, CBG, CBC, CBN, and CBD, as well as the acidic levels of the neutral cannabinoids such as THCA. The test plates (shown below) create a cannabinoid fingerprint that is unique to each strain and identifies it’s cannabis chemotype.
Why use Cannatest?
